Who we are
Bodmin Light and Life was planted in 2017 out of East Cornwall Light and Life, which also has a congregation in St Austell and runs St Austell foodbank. East Cornwall is, in turn, part of the group of Light and Life Churches across Cornwall, which are part of the Free Methodist Church in the UK.
We range in age, background, and church experience, but love being “family” together. We are a diverse group of people of all ages dedicated to following Jesus and living out our faith in our daily lives.
ACTS435
We are delighted to be Advocates for Acts435, an innovative charity which hosts a website allowing people across the world to donate funds to those in need.
If you, or someone you know, is in need of funding for something specific such as household goods, or assistance with bills, Acts435 might be able to help. Please note that we are currently able to offer this service only to people living in the Bodmin area.
Bodmin youth project
We are proud to be part of BODMIN YOUTH PROJECT – an initiative of ourselves, Immanuel Church, and New Life Church, in association with Scripture Union. We run Immerse (10-14s) fortnightly on Friday nights, and Tuesday Youth Group (TYG) for those 14+. We also run a football outreach programme on Wednesdays at the Fair Park when the weather allows!
